Farbatex inks are versatile one or two component inks. Ink that does not require hardener in order to react with the surface is called one component Ink. Two component ink requires an addition of hardener in order to get reacted to the printed surface. Hardener improves adhesion property of ink. Life of one component ink is same as the shelf life of the ink if it has been properly stored. Life of two component ink after adding hardener is approximately 3-5hours.
These inks are stored at Room temperature i.e. 25 degree Celcius and humidity of 65RH. It is needed to kept away from direct sunlight. The shelf life of Inks is about 1 year from the date of manufacturing when stored in proper storage conditions when it is not opened. In case it has been opened, one should keep it away from being oxidized. The less contact it has from the environment, the better the life gets. The basic ink mixing system consists of 10 basic colors and may be used for the mixing of a wide color shade range.
